Ok, I’m really curious in learning the kind or type of church people enjoy attending and why. There’s no real reason and this isn’t some independent study…just me being nosy! Although I’m sure there’s a study out there with empirical data I could read, I’d rather hear from actual people, friends if you will, than to review a few pages of research. Besides, I’m sure reading a few comments might pique curiosity and help others articulate their own views.
So, whether it’s…
Cathedral style with Gregorian chants
House-church with a few friends and family
Large church environments where you’re known by a select few
Online where you’re pretty much anonymous
Small environments where “everybody knows your name” (what I like to call Cheers-Church)
Temple or Synagogue
Or simply N/A where church really isn’t your thing and Sundays are used to catch up on sleep
Wherever you might land, if you’ve got a minute, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Given that today is Sunday, it shouldn’t be too difficult of an exercise. By the way, try being respectful of the opinions of others. Don’t use this as an opportunity to have what I call “Keyboard-Courage” and exchange words online in a way that you don’t have the gumption to do in person (wimps, BEWARE, ‘cause WE WILL FIND YOU)! Just playing…well, sort of. LOL
Anyways, have fun and enjoy the day!!!
